Cosmic Charlies Reviews Upside Down Candy Crasher by BlkMkt

Initial Impression and Packaging:

We’ve been really loving the Blkmkt’s High Society, so we were looking forward to getting our hands on their new Upside Down Candy Crasher. Packaged on November 22nd, we crack open the seal of the jar and are immediately impressed by the smell. It is reminiscent of Green Joy’s Grape Yogurt – it has very forward notes of actual grape yogurt / a dairy-like sourness, combined with sweet fruit and burnt caramel? Boxed raisins. Popeye cigarette stick candies? There are a lot of layers to this one. The flower has a wide range of colours scattered throughout it, from deep purples, to oranges and greens. When ground up, the buds broke up wispy and light and didn’t feel too dry (There was a Boveda pack in the jar). Our jar had a few smaller buds – everything weighed out to 3.6g.

Smoking Experience and Effects:

Before even lighting the joint, we noticed the dry pull sat on the milder side in terms of flavour.. and once lit, we were disappointed by the continued lack of flavour. Our expectations were set high by the incredible smell. You would expect this stuff to taste crazy based on that, but alas. With everything said, the smoke was thick and smooth and it burnt fine. It didn’t taste bad or make us cough. The effects are uplifting, creative and mellow – perhaps not as intense as Blkmkt’s old Upside Down Cake but still pleasant for a nice daytime hybrid.

Conclusion:

Overall.. it’s good. It was a smooth smoke with a focused high and there isn’t much of a crash yet (an hour post-smoke) at least. The flower smells phenomenal. We think the lack of flavour could be dialled in a bit more especially for the price, but in general this

is something we would feel confident recommending to people wanting to buy good weed at our store. We give it a 7.8/10. Minus 2 points and a bit for the lack of flavour.
