Cosmic Charlies Reviews Royal Dive #3: Hindu Glue by HIGHXOTIC

June 4, 2024

Despite its steep price point, a slightly harsh smoke, and slight lack of moisture; the even burn and woody flavour coupled with its calming yet focusing effects do make it a compelling choice with many upsides.

Appearance and Packaging:

Glass jar, sealed tight. The buds sparkle and showcase a spectrum of green hues contrasted with orange pistils. No humidity pack. Not sticky, but not overly dry. Our “squish test” did slightly crumble the nug, but our first impressions straight out of the jar are generally positive. On the scale, it hit 3.5g right on the nose.

Aroma:

Upon opening the jar, there was an immediate impression of a delightful woodsy scent with a light pine aroma. It reminded us of walking through a forest right after it had rained – not in a musky or unattractive way, it smells fresh. The initial smell is calming and inviting. Once ground up, the flower reveals a much sweeter profile. The initial woodsy and pine notes are complemented by a blend of sweet sage and earthy dirt.

Rolling + Dry Pull:

The rolling experience is average – the flower feels just slightly on the dryer side. To our surprise, the dry pull has a mouthwatering minty earth flavour. The pre-light experience seemed promising and set high expectations for a tasty experience.

Smoking Experience:

When rolled into a joint, the flower burnt evenly and clean with a light grey ash. The woody aroma semi-translated into the flavour, providing a generally consistent and enjoyable smoking experience. However, the smoke is slightly harsh, which might be a drawback for some users.

The effects hit quick and were pleasant and generally calming. We immediately noticed the relaxing properties of this strain, complemented by a slight head tingle that enhanced focus and provided a mild sense of euphoria. This balance of calming and focusing effects makes it an excellent choice for both relaxation and productivity.

Conclusion:

7 / 10. Despite its steep price point, a slightly harsh smoke, and slight lack of moisture; the even burn and woody flavour coupled with its calming yet focusing effects do make it a compelling choice with many upsides. The high did not dissipate quickly like some of its competitors products, and still provided us with pleasant effects 1.5-2 hours in with little to no burnout.
